Good Friday teatime

I had a simple lovely teatime on Good Friday. We had fresh apple pie pastry with whipped cream on top from a local bakery. They were very nice, perfect sweetness, lovely matched with white ginkgo tea and coffee.

Oli the fox is my Christmas present from my cousin. He is traditional 'Finnish fox' from 'design village'.

White ginkgo tea for me. This is one of my favourite teacup. I found it in the secondhand shop. The colour is so pretty with a countryside scene painting. It is from an exclusive edition tea set called Wintertraum of Christineholm.

Meanwhile, coffee was served in famous Finnish design brand Marimekko tea/coffee cup. The red flower pattern is one of Marimekko symbolic design.

With homemade chocolate cake at summer cottage

I found a very nice chocolate cake yet simple on youtube (link here). Not to mention, it is flourless so it is perfect for gluten-free family member. I also used my favourite Belgian chocolate I can found here so it turned out very nice.
