It is lucky of me to find out this scones recipes from Cupcake Jemma Youtube channel. The recipes is simple and easy for beginners as well. The scones turn out very soft, fluffy and smell buttery. Perfect for teatime in chill weather.

Scones Baking and Fresh Strawberry Jam

I tend to enjoy my homemade scones with also freshly made strawberry jam and whipped cream. This recipes give scones a slightly sweet taste. I don't like very sweet cakes either so I use less sugar to make jam and no sugar in whipped cream. But generous honey for tea.

It only takes about 30 mins to 45 mins to prepare and bake. In short, in 1 hour, you can enjoy a cosy and nice afternoon tea for the weekend.
