What is Easter tradition from your country? How do you spend time on Palm Sunday, Sunday before Easter? For me, Palm Sunday is at home waiting for the 'little witches' ring ring my doorbell :) >.o

In Finland, Palm Sunday is an excited Sunday. The children dress up as witches with red cheeks, freckles and colourful headscarfs. Before visiting houses, they prepare Easter twigs 'vista' in Finnish, colourful decorated bird twigs. When they at your house, firstly, they sing the Easter song.

Virvon, varvon,

tuoreeks,

terveeks,

tulevaks, vuodeks,

vista sulle,

palkka mulle!

Tapping performance 'virvon, varvon'

fresh,

healthy,

this coming year,

twig for you,

payment for me!

For a healthy year, you receive the twigs from the 'little witches'. But remember before that, you give them sweets as 'payment'.

This year I forgot to take their pictures. I deeply regret because they are so adorable with their cheeks. Next year, I definitely will.

However I decided to make me into a 'little witch' for fun and also for example :)

This is my version of 'little witch' and the twigs I received.

I use these to make my face.

It is very simple. You only need lips pencil or brown pencil and lipstick. I use dark pink lips pencil for freckles and orange lipstick for cheek.

While waiting for more 'little witches', I enjoyed my teatime with happiness from this little twig from the cute 'little witch' next door.

She was so cute and shy. She couldn't remember the song and repeated after her mom. I'm sure she comes over next year as well. Can't wait >o<

Next part, I will share the traditional Easter dinner. We will have a dinner at our summer house. So I hope I get some nice pictures to share.

HAPPY EASTER BUNNY >o< :)
